Man as far as I know it, Boston is always #1 but the Canadiens are allfully good but I have Faith in the Bruins. Since it's the playoffs, I personally think were going to give these Canadians a fight!

King David -- what a difference a day makes. Philly beat Pittsburgh, making the Pens the solid #2 seed. Philly bumped up to the #6 seed with the win, and Ottawa moved into the #7 seed. The Bruins dropped to the #8 seed, so they will start the playoffs in a series against the #1 seed Montreal Canadiens.

If I count correctly, the Bruins and Canadiens played each other eight times this year, and Montreal won all eight matches. On the face of it, that is not a good sign. But, hopefully, it will inspire the Bs to put together their best effort and at least make a series out of it. I'm just happy to see them back in the playoffs!

King David -- the Bruins made it! Seventh place. Now they go on to play the Penguins in the playoffs. Should be a good series, though I know Boston is going to have their hands full.

King David -- As I was telling another friend, I might actually have a solid reason to watch some of the NBA playoffs for a change this year! I think the Celtics have the potential to go pretty deep this year. I'm not counting on the Championship, but I think it's a distinct possibility.

I'm worried about the Bruins, though. They've played themselves down to eighth place now, and they're only two or three points ahead of the ninth place team. It's not looking good, and I hate the prospect of another year with the Bruins in the NHL playoffs. Ah, well, we'll see what happens!
